Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is an Hollywood actress, author and bestseller novelist. Her talents have won her international recognition. She's a Sagittarius born on December 3 1960. She was born in North Carolina. She is the oldest out of three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, a psychologist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Her father was a professional and moved her family a lot. It was a struggle to make and keeping friendships. The family moved to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. When she completed the requirements for her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her education. In Theater. Moore began her career in theater off Broadway in New York, after she completed her degree. In 1985 she appeared on screen for the first time in The Edge of Night. She played in the roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her breakthrough. The show aired until 1988, when she received a Daytime Emmy Award. Her debut film appearance came in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. This film she later described as a bad budget production. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both films by Robert Altman. It was critically acclaimed, and Moore received multiple nominations. Moore landed her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the top grossing films of 1997, represented a huge change in Moore's career. The actress received an SAG nomination in 1999 for her role she performed in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. The Hours starred Moore in 2002, and was nominated for Nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was a film in which she appeared in 2014 was released. Moore was in a variety of productions and films. Her most recent starring role was in the film When You Finish Saving the World (2022). The actress has established herself as a star in Hollywood and is also an author of children's books. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. It became a top bestseller, and then was made into a TV series along with a musical. Moore also published My Mom's Foreigner, an autobiography in 2013. Moore lives a flamboyant life as an accomplished actress and novelist. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore is a woman who values her family and career.
